Amber Fort, nestled in the state capital of Jaipur is set in picturesque and rugged hills, claims to be an enthralling blend of Hindu and Mughal architecture. Raja Man Singh laid its foundation in the year 1592 and was completed by Mirza Raja Rai Singh, the fort has been created out of red stone and white marble. Golden fort, also recognized as Jaisalmer Fort is one of the biggest forts in the world. Nestled in the blue city of Jaisalmer, which happens to be in the royal state of Rajasthan, the fort was built 1156 AD by Bhati Rajput ruler Rao Jaisal, from which city derived its name. With the massive yellow sandstone walls are obscured in the yellow sands of the vast desert of the city.
